I think that Amy was the luckiest of my kids insofar as being able to grow up at her own pace without older siblings making it happen faster. Even though Amy and Misha are only 19 months apart, Misha does or wants to do/watch/have all the things Amy does.
During the day while Amy and Misha are at school, Kristen is free to be an almost four-year old. But, when her sisters get home, she usually joins in watching what they watch or wants to be outside riding in the cul-de-sac just like them or whatever. Just growing up too fast.
This morning in the van, Kristen pipes up from the back seat and asks, "Is this the Jonas Brothers?" Now come on, they don't hear about the Jonas Brothers on Playhouse Disney. Too fast, I say.
On another funny note, Kristen likes to try out sayings on me all the time. Yesterday from the backseat and out of the blue she asks, "Is it a deal, Mom?"
