This was Kristen with her own iPad before getting the school-issued iPad. She'll keep hers and leave it at home during the day. Since she isn't able to add so many apps to the school-issued device, I'm sure this one will still get used and be loved.

iPad Pick Up
This idea of going back to school has always been met with excitement in previous years for Kristen. She has always loved school and learning and friends. 6th grade, now that was a big, fat scary deal--new school, new friends, new teachers, a bus ride. A couple of days before school officially started, the school had iPad pick up for sixth grade students and new-to-the-district students. Kristen and I walked in to the school library to find two friends from elementary school, and already things were looking up.
