My right foot still isn't healing as well as it should, especially after the surgery I had in January. On Monday, June 15th, I had more injections. Prolotherapy. I felt the first needle as my doctor did a nerve block right above my ankle. I'm glad I didn't feel the rest as I watched on the ultrasound as the needle went in and out in different locations around my tendon and nerves to break up the tendon. I had four injections in total.
I was on crutches for three days. I could have walked after the first two days easily, but the doctor recommend staying off my heel as much as possible.
My foot is still pretty tender with some bruising, and I can't walk for too long without it hurting, but hopefully it is doing some repairing in the process.
