He left work a little after 4 pm on Tuesday afternoon. He had already packed his stuff before leaving for work. I had the rest of my gear, the food, and hiking gear ready to go when he arrived home.
We drove to Pueblo and stopped for dinner at Chick-fil-A.
Our stop for the night was in Raton, New Mexico at the Holiday Inn Express. It was the best option available. It was about 2.5 hours from the Springs.
