Heigh Ho Heigh Ho, It's Off To School They Go.....

One of my favorite back-to-school commercials portrays a father and his two children at an office supply. The children walk morosely down the school supply aisle while their dad skips happily along selecting items off the shelves. Cue the music, "It's the most wonderful time of the year...." I agree totally with the sentiment of the song, though my children were just as excited to be back in school.







The lovely part about this morning is the wonderful, leisurely walk we took to the school across the street. A crosswalk has been installed on Birch Street with flashing lights and a crossing guard.

Kristen walked to the school with us this morning but was just as happy to bid her sisters farewell and reclaim her role as queen of the house. My only regret is that she no longer takes naps on a regular basis.
