So Kristen is picking up very quickly the concept of how not to be in trouble. When I find her playing in water in the sink, climbing in the pantry, scaling my desk, or whatever equally mischievous activity she might be doing at the moment, I ask, "What are you doing?" Her reply has been, "Nuthin'" and then she continues on as though she has absolved herself from any wrongdoing. My usual response is, "Oh, that's not nothing, you're doing something."
Last night after dinner she was searching for a treat in the pantry. I came upon her and asked, "What are you doing?" Her reply, "Sumthin.'" I had to laugh.
