Amy had one of those crazy days at school last week where she had three tests all in the same day. We have been emphasizing the importance of preparation and encouraged her to start early in her studies. That often meant that Mom was involved in the study process, but seriously, you don't become a great student without knowing how to study and learn facts. I believe learning how to study is an art as well as understanding the discipline required in foregoing other more exciting activities.
She happily reported to me a couple of days later after her class graded their Language Arts exam together that she got every answer correct. Some of the students in her class accused her of cheating. She replied, "No, I studied."
I love it. She did too.
