Amy's birthday is in December. Shortly after her first birthday, Chris and I drove around one night in a neighborhood close to our home in Provo to look at Christmas lights. Amy was mesmerized. She sat in the back of the car, boosted up high enough in her car seat that she could look out the car windows at all of the Christmas lights and decorations.
Chris and I sat in the front seat of the car listening to this little one-year old girl repeatedly whisper, "Wow. Wow. Wow." with so much wonder and awe and amazement. Can you imagine seeing Christmas lights for the first time? I am thankful for the reminder to look at life with as much wonder and awe and amazement.
