Colorado 4th of July

The Firestone parade is never our favorite parade, but it was good to support our community.  We met up with Jamie and David Adamson and their family.  They found a spot to sit and we came to find them.  Kristen is realizing that she is just a little too old to capture the attention of the candy throwers.  But she is smart in sitting next to the little kids.  Plus she just loves little kids.

The parade lasted for about 45 minutes.  We had to make a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up some drinks and ice for our party at the beach.

It started small in the original planning stages, but grew to about 40 people as we invited more people who didn't have significant other plans for the 4th.  I'm pretty sure everyone enjoyed themselves with the jet ski rides, swimming, playing the sand, eating food, BBQing, and just hanging out.
