Donuts seem to be the preferred breakfast treat and birthday cake option for birthdays for my girls now. Always fun when I can surprise them on a Monday morning and they ask, "When did you get those?"
Chris blocked off time on Monday afternoon so that we could go and celebrate Misha. We had an UrbanAdventureQuest.com gift certificate that we used for a fun scavenger hunt in Boulder around Pearl Street. Haven't tried them yet? You should. They are a lot of fun. And if you can throw in some giant snow cones? Well, then the day is almost perfect.
Misha wanted to have her birthday dinner at Tokyo Joe's (a favorite place) so we were happy to oblige.
And then, of course, there were presents. Amy joined us via Facetime. We bought this hoodie for Misha when we were in Florida in February knowing that the shirt was just perfect for her. It wasn't a sword, mind you. That's what she really wanted.
Gotta love Trader Joe's version of Swedish Fish.
