I bought a bunch of ground beef and then decided to make the meatballs for our Christmas Day dinner. It is nice to have some of the effort done ahead so that Christmas Day isn't so busy.
Our tradition now is to make pasta, gnocchi, and meatballs for Christmas dinner.
