Chris and I attended a white elephant party with friends on Saturday night.
Chris took as his gift a pair of brass pheasants that he had received as a white elephant gift two years ago. He and his friend David had used them as target practice.
The person who chose his gift is actually the person who had brought the brass pheasants two years ago. I could hear his wife whisper, "Oh no, it's the brass pheasants!" They were looking a little worse for the wear, but so funny that they returned to their original owner.
There seemed to be a theme in other gifts.
