I am grateful when people send thank you notes. I have noted many times that it is a lost art.
Sure it is easy to send off a quick text saying "thank you", but when someone takes the time to sit down and write a note and then mail it, I am impressed.
When I give gifts for weddings and new babies and graduations without receiving any kind of thanks, I often feel as though giving the gift was expected.
To all the young people (and older people too) out there who want a quality life skill, learn to write and send thank you notes.
