We had planned to volunteer at the OUR Center on Saturday morning after Thanksgiving. The center had another group that had to give up that day and asked if we would want to take it.
We planned to have another ward gather the food and then our ward, specifically our ministering group, would then prepare, serve and clean up.
When we arrived at the OUR Center on Saturday morning, the ward that was providing the food had a miscommunication and also brought people to prepare, serve and clean up.
Chris gave instructions to the group and then we went back home and where Chris enlisted the girls and grandma in helping to put up outdoor lights.
