Chris and Kristen gifted me tickets for a Christmas gift to see "The Music Man" in Denver.
The night finally arrived for our performance. We met up with Misha for dinner at Pepper's Asian in Denver off of Colfax at 6 pm
After parking, we quickly found our seats and settled in for the 7:30 pm performance.
The backstory here goes back almost 30 years when Chris and I were engaged. We attended a performance of "The Music Man" at the Sundance outdoor theatre in Utah. He was able to take me, and we both latched on to the idea of being each other's "someone" from the song "Goodnight My Someone." It became our song. So much so that we each secretly had "My Someone" inscribed in the other's wedding band.
When we had little girls, I adapted that song and tune to a goodnight lullaby for my girls. They asked for it many nights before falling asleep.
