Kristen has been pouring over some of the toy catalogs we have received in the mail lately. She even requests that we "read" the catalogs at bedtime. A number of times each day she'll find something she loves and wants for Christmas and asks, "Can I get this for Christmas?" My response is, "Maybe." Kristen doesn't understand "maybe". To her it translates to "Yes." I tried to explain that maybe could mean yes or no. Regardless, she'll still ask for new items to be added to her virtual Christmas list, and when I respond with "maybe", she always says, "Maybe!!! Woohoo!"
