I was at McDonald's with Amy and Kristen after Amy's field day. A little boy started chattering non-stop at us. Amy asked, "Where's your Mom?" He replied, "My mom isn't here, that is my au pair. How come you don't have an au pair?" Not sure how he knew I wasn't the au pair--except that maybe it was because I was sitting with my kids and not off in a corner with my laptop.
