House Progress - Feb.18

We are still missing three windows in the living room because of incorrect measurements and/or incorrect keystrokes on the computer.  They are now ordered for the third time.  That's the charm, right?  You can see them in the picture below still covered in plastic.  It keeps some of the weather out, but not all.  However, the rest of the windows and doors have been installed.

The view from the upper deck is pretty amazing (minus the scaffolding).  I don't think I will ever get tired of it.  I love to stand on it and listen to the honking of the geese and the singing of the meadowlarks.  I have been told, and I will definitely put some people to the test, that mosquitoes are not usually found so high up from the ground.  I will let you know this summer.
