Kristen looked and felt pretty good on Saturday morning, but she wasn't up for long before heading back to bed. Her face just got puffier and puffier throughout the day and into Sunday. She was pretty miserable.
The soft pillow cases surrounded bags of frozen corn that we swapped out throughout the day. She had something chilled on her face pretty much nonstop for two days. I remember holding soft pillowcases against my face when I had my wisdom teeth out.
By Monday in to Tuesday, the swelling started to go down significantly.
She smiled for me at the Orthodontist on Tuesday afternoon, but he put a new wire on her bottom braces (probably should have done that before the surgery) so that when we went back for a check up on Wednesday morning, the oral surgeon stitched the chain he had previously attached to her molar to the new wire. Kristen was in so much pain when she woke up Wednesday morning.
