Ashley stayed for a couple of extra days after her family went home. She and Kristen baked, sang, jogged, hung out with Kristen's friends, went thrifting, and showed Kristen's friend Kate a little more about using her silks.
Ashley is quite accomplished on silks.
Kristen had a new-hire orientation meeting on Friday morning, so Ashley and I drove Kristen into Chick-fil-a and then headed for the airport.
We found a parking spot on the East side of the airport and came inside to find that the security line snaked all the way back around by the baggage claim area.
I stayed in line with Ashley until she reached the normal security line and waited until she finally got through security and was headed down to the train. Fortunately she was only in the security line for about 30 minutes. It moved pretty quickly.
Regardless, she had plenty of time before her plane left at noon.
She made it to her gate without any difficulty and texted me later in the afternoon when she was headed home from the Houston airport with her dad.
