We rented a 5x10 unit at SecurCare Self Storage in Monument. We put some of our food storage in the unit, metal shelves, pictures, and clothing boxes. The clothing will be some of the winter things we might need once we move, so it will be handy to have it close by.
We are storing a lot of the non-essentials at our next-door neighbor's work farm. He has a bunch of semi containers there and is happy to let us keep our stuff there for the next year. We will keep it locked and then when it is full, Mike will push a huge rock in front of the door to keep it secure.
