Chris and I drove down to Monument for an afternoon meeting with our builders and a framing walk. For the framing walk, we made sure that all of the niches in the shower were where wanted them, decided on shower head placement and valve placement, talked over the area under the stairs, eliminated a closeta linen closet in the primary closet (hope that works out ok), located exterior hose bibs, and decided on exterior stair placement.
We had our two project managers, Warren and Michel, our designer, Jennifer, and the junior project manager, Christine, to guide us in making decisions. We want to make smart decisions, so I always say that if they have better ideas or reasons why our decisions aren't great, we want to know.
We are really enjoying working with our builders. Especially when you hear that the owner of the company, Steve, is onsite at times checking the work and requesting changes to be made to improve the quality.
The framers on our house completed the job quickly, but they are the back up team, so everyone is checking their work to make sure it is up to Alliance standards. We appreciated that.

We also appreciate that the framers have worked diligently to get everything framed in before the colder weather hits. They are hoping to install the garage doors and the sliding doors soon so that the house will be completely weather tight.
