Having a missionary is a brand new experience for us. We sure do miss Kristen, and having to wait until Mondays all of the time to get the latest news is hard for all of us.
For example, we talked to her on Monday two weeks ago. She got her VISA to go to Australia the next day and she couldn't share her exciting news with us until the next Monday.
Sometimes it is a rollercoaster from week to week where you go from the elated highs from a great week to the tears and sadness of a challenging week. I love her for her service. I love her for being such a great cheerleader. I love her for gently encouraging me to do and be better.
