We try to follow a schedule in the morning before Amy leaves for school in order to have family scripture time and prayer. Sometimes she is hungry and likes to sneak in a few bites of cereal before we all gather together, and then she is finished eating early and begins to interrupt our time together with getting ready to get out the door.
So the other morning I could hear her spoon clinking in her cereal bowl, while her dad and I were still upstairs. "Are you eating already?" I yelled down to her. Her response, "Don't worry, Mom, we're reading scriptures."
See, it was one of those moments when my heart took a picture.
