Enjoying the Moment

We live in a pretty cool place, but spend so much time working on the yard work that we don't often take time to just sit and enjoy the view.  There is always something that needs doing.  Lately we have spent time adding posts down by the beach that we can attach shade triangles to.  There was digging involved along with leveling the posts and filling the holes with cement.  We finally had the shade triangles hung and took a few minutes to enjoy the shade and the beach and the view.  It was lovely.

Let me just add a note about our future next-door neighbors.  They stopped by as they walked around the lake and jumped in to help hang the shades, Barb offered one of their triangle shades that they weren't using, and Mike planted all of my plants that I was planning to plant.  (Mike is a landscaper and loves the outdoors).  I am just so impressed with them.  We look forward to having the DePriests as our neighbors someday.  If you look in the picture below with Kristen, our storage container is pictured behind her.  The doors used to be bright blue.  Mike just started painting them for us one day because he had extra paint left over from painting his own doors.  He is just cool like that.

We found this cool hammock at Costco in Canada.  Kristen was more than willing to test it out.
