I checked on May 4 to see if anything had been announced for the Colorado Springs' temple design. Nope. But on May 5, Kristen sent us the link to the Church News announcement that announced the new design.
It is exciting to finally see some progress after the temple was announced in October 2023. That's when Chris and I decided to make the move to Monument. It has ALL been a process!
This is the new design.
It will take 12-15 minutes to drive to the temple from our new house.
It will be a couple of years still as a groundbreaking date has not yet been set. Until then, Chris and I will have to drive to the Denver temple in Highlands Ranch about an hour away.
