DC 98:2 Waiting patiently on the Lord, for your prayers have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and are recorded with this seal and testament—the Lord hath sworn and decreed that they shall be granted.
I am adding this here so that I can remember that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Sabaoth.
In Hebrew, Sabaoth means host or army. He IS the Lord of hosts, the Lord of an army.
When we talk about the Lord of Sabaoth, we talk about him being a God of army, a God of hosts. What that tells us is that HE IS A WARRIOR and he KNOWS how to fight."
We may want the version of Jesus that is soft and cuddly and charitable and kind, but we also have to believe that he is also a God who is just and can fight and knows the enemy's tactics and will fight for you and will go into battle with you.
When it says that your prayers have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoat, it means that your prayers have entered into the ears of the Captain of the army, the Warrior who knows how to win this war with you.
