It Was a Marathon

Attending high school and seminary is not for the faint of heart.  If you do not already know, Amy is NOT a morning person.  In fact, any time you have to wake Amy up, you need to be prepared for Grumpy Amy to appear.  My girls often fight over whose turn it isn't to wake Amy up.  Understanding that, back to school and seminary.  May 17th was Amy's last day.  There was a count down to the last day.

What is most impressive to me is that for the last four years, Amy has climbed out of bed around 5:20 am faithfully to attend seminary.  It was never her favorite thing to do, and she didn't always stay awake through seminary.  When she had an off-block first thing, she often wore her pajamas, and many days she went without makeup and put it on in the car after seminary.  But she went.  For four years she went.  We are proud of her.  She is thrilled, overjoyed, and delighted to be done.  She is sleeping in.
