Kristen Leaving for EFY

As announcements were made this week that the Especially For Youth program as we have known it for the past 40 plus years will be changing next year, we are grateful that Kristen is able to experience EFY on the Provo BYU campus this year.

She and I left for the airport at 6 am on Saturday morning for her 8:10 am flight.  She told me that she was old enough now that I didn't have to go to her gate with her.

I stayed with her until she got through security and took the stairs down to the train, blowing a kiss at her as she smiled (maybe a tear or two in her eyes) and waved.

She was met by my sister, Susan, at the SLC airport a couple of hours later.
