Misha's Surprise Birthday

Since Kristen will be at Girls' Camp all week long and Chris will be on the East Coast, we decided to surprise Misha with a birthday party on Sunday.  She was feeling a little down that some of the family wouldn't be around to help her celebrate on Tuesday.

And...we were successful in surprising her.  As she and Amy walked in from church (they attend the YSA ward from 10:30-12:30), Chris, Kristen, and I began singing "Happy Birthday".  I found a place in Longmont that sells beignets for Misha's birthday treat.  Granted, they would have been so much better on Saturday after they were hot and freshly cooked, but it was the thought that counted.

She got to open some presents as well.  Happy Birthday to my newest 18 year old!
