New Hardwood

So, we are getting new hardwood installed.  The current floor has a cracking issue that caused it to be discontinued by the manufacturer.  They are reimbursing us the original amount for the flooring and install.  We chose a more expensive floor this time around and will have to cover the difference in that cost.

It is a more rustic-looking floor and lighter in color, though the sample piece we used in the selection process was almost as dark as our current floor.  Perhaps there's a wide color variation.  Both hardwoods are engineered hickory.  This new floor has varying widths of 7" and 3" and longer runs.  Let's hope I like it.
