Chris and I attended our new ward in Monument on Sunday morning at 11 am. It is the Woodmoor Ward. Our new bishop, Eric Mather, was quick to introduce himself. The ward isn't huge, so he was thrilled to have new members moving in.
We talked with him and his wife, Rose, after Sacrament Meeting and he asked about our family, interests, and whether or not we could play the organ! Whew. No.
I mentioned that my current calling is as a BYU-I Institute Instructor and planned to continue teaching once we move.
Not sure why the wards don't overlap in the building at all, but there are three wards meeting on the schedule of 8:30 am, 11 am, and 1:30 pm. Not looking forward to 1:30 pm church next year. The good news? The church is only about five minutes from our house.
