Pelican Shores Landscaping

Someday we might say, "It is finished," but right now landscaping our acre and a half is a yearly process where we accomplish our landscaping bit by bit.  Last year our focus was on the beach area and improving it to a point where we could enjoy our time there a lot more.  There is still much more that we can and need to do, planting more trees for one, but this Spring we are working on adding more trees to our front and side yard, preparing a garden space, pouring a concrete pad so maybe we can add a hot tub (and then relax our over-taxed muscles), and working on the back hill so that it isn't such a weed fest.  We are grateful for our next-door neighbor Mike and his landscaping company.  We couldn't do this without him.

Adding a spruce tree in the center of the turn-around.

Three new spruce trees and a berm on the west side of the house next to the river bed.  That grassy area at the top of the river bed?  I am going to add that to the berm area.  I hate that native grass!
