Kristen didn't get set apart for her mission until Wednesday evening. Our Stake President Copple was out of town picking up his son from his mission in Arizona. Kristen could have been set apart by one of the counselors, but since Craig Copple has been a good family friend for years, she wanted him to set her apart.
Chris was out of town until late on Tuesday.
President Copple came to our house on 5 pm on the 19th, chatted for a bit with us, and then gave Kristen an amazing blessing of guidance, peace and comfort, protection, and a commission to go forth and serve.
Kristen is going to be an amazing missionary.
