After the farmers market, Raymond was kind enough to treat us to breakfast, and I got breakfast tacos.
Once we finished breakfast, we headed back to the house where everyone else was awake and ready to help prepare for the barbecue.
Aunty Letti had us cut up lots of different fruits and vegetables, which we were happy to do. She showed us how to make a delicious guacamole (which I did not try cause I don’t like guacamole but everyone else said it was delicious) and a couple other dishes. That didn’t take a crazy long time, so me, Mallory, Jordan, and Lilliann decided to go to a beach for a few hours in the meantime.
This beach was right in between Baldwin beach and Baby beach, so it was pretty close to where we had been the previous day. We spent a few hours playing in the waves and tanning, but it was fairly windy on the coast so we didn’t stay forever.
When we came back we all took quick showers before everyone started showing up for the barbecue. We met a lot of Jade's extended family who had come to support Lynzee. The food was delicious and we got to meet some more people that Jade and Lynzee went to high school with.
One of their cousins played guitar super well, and he was providing some music for everyone. At one point he started taking requests and it basically turned into karaoke which was fun to watch. As the sun set and everyone wrapped up the day, we headed inside and did some blind karaoke ourselves, which is where someone else picks the song and the singer can’t look at the lyrics.
We got tired of that after a little while, so we put on a show and got ready for bed.
